Gold and blue

Picture explosion this Saturday!
It's so funny that I combined gold and blue together, since Phlox did it yesterday. But who can blame her, it's a great combo!
I did mine a bit lighter, and not as blue as she did, but I think both our versions are good-looking!
And I combined matte and shimmery shadows together, and the shifting result is amazing! Must do this more often!
Well, I leave you with that, and hope you'll have a great weekend!

Royal Eyes

Blue and gold makes such great combinations, although one has to be careful with blending them toghether otherwise you'll get a hint of green as a bonus! Blue and gold also reminds me of the royal family, hence the name!
And what could be better than topping this look with some glitter?!
If you're looking for the perfect glitter eyeliner you simply must try the NYX Candy Glitter Liners, they're divine and long lasting!

Lips for quickie eyes

Just wanted to show some of the lip products I chose to throw in my purse for my quick look!
First out is a NYX Goddess of the Night Gloss called Gold Pink. Very easy to apply, therefor very good for when rushing!

Then I went for softer lips, these are created by NYX Slim Lip Pencil Coral which I painted on after moisturizing my lips with Ultrabalm from Lush which gives an amazing shine to the lips. Almost like a lipgloss!

And changing the colours of the lips are a better way to go through a day when everything feels like it's against you. Overslept days are often such days that makes you wish you had just stayed under the duvet and continued sleeping!

My quick look!

This is my quickie!
When there's just no time at all, or an overslept moment, this is what I do.
Simple complexions, a black pencil, a brow pencil and mascara.
One can be bolder and do the waterline black as well, but today I left that part out!
Then I rush through the door, and make sure to stuff my purse with loads of lipsticks (which I prepare during brushing teeth!) and then I can make the lips on the sub, or what the moment gives you!
When one's in a hurry all the rules are rearranged!!

Short list:
Eyepencil - S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil by Illamasqua
Mascara - Skinny Brush Mascara by Eyeko
Eyebrow - Le Crayon Eyekohl Bronze by Lancome

How do you do your quickie looks??

Enjoy!

Wet n Wild Tutorial

So here's my Wet n Wild look, which I also split up as a quick tutorial. Here's how I did!

I applied the Colouricon Eyeliner on my lid using the Green one. Under the lashes is Deep Blue, and on the waterline is Turquoise. On the lid I painted small lines which I blended out with a synthetic brush.

I used only one pigment for the whole look, and by using different pencils makes the result shift in colours. The pigment I used was Whisper Green Multi Use Pigment from MadMinerals

Then I added some more Deep Blue to create an eyeliner, but also enhancing the blue under the bottom lashes.

Fixed the brows and on with two layers of mascara (Eyeko Curvy Brush Mascara) and the look is complete! Quick and easy. And of course one could add glitter, rhinestones or have a bolder eyeliner, simply follow your will!
Result!

I love just using one pigment, but several primers! Makes the pigment to appear so much more fun than usual.
I have made more tutorials with pencils and just one pigment. You can watch them here (pencil tutorial), and here (one shadow tutorial).
Hope you found it useful!

Product sum up:
Primer - Wet n Wild Colouricon Eyeliner in Green & Deep Blue
Eyeshadow - MadMinerals Multi Use Pigment in Whisper Green
Eyepencil - Wet n Wild Colouricon Eyeliner in Turquoise
Eyeliner - Wet n Wild Colouricon Eyeliner in Deep Blue
Mascara - Eyeko Curvy Brush Mascara
Eyebrow - Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bronze by Lancome

Wet n Wild Eyepencils & Eyeliners

So yesterday me and Phlox stood by a Wet n Wild booth and just went berserk!
It was surprisingly how many odd colours they had in like everything, and also as I think everybody knows, how freaking cheap they are!
So no, we didn't come out with just one product!
We had like a full hand each of Wet n Wild!
Look!

Yiha!

All in all these pencils are very creamy and easy to apply. I have made a look that I'll show later, where I also used them as primer, so they are fantastic that way too!
They were easy to apply on the waterline as well, so that's a plus. But since they are very cheap it is amazing how good colour pay off they've got!
Colour sum up:
White - simple matte white
Sky Blue - light shimmery blue
Cool Green - Forrest Green with shimmer
Turquoise - A bit shimmery, but hues more to the bluer part in the turquoise
Green - Emerald green. Matte base but has some tiny sparkles
Deep Blue - Dark matte blue, with silver sparkles
Purple - Deep matte purple
Amethyst - A more reddish purple with golden sheen

The hopes are high for these beauties but it's so easy to love them all!
I liked the colours of the pencils, since they had so many in different hues of blue and green.
And later I'll show you the look I made out of them!
See ya!

Lipstick Transformation!

Believe it or not, but this is actually the same lipstick in the pictures below. It's a super easy trick to transform one colour into another.

I'm wearing Blush from Make Up Store, a pretty neutral matte pink. The original colour is to the left and the one to the right is a bonus one!

How did I do it?

Start with painting the entire lips with your favorite white eye pencil. I used Elate from Illamasqua.

Then add the lipstick and make sure to draw it on thoroughly, you don't want the white to be spotted too much. But sometimes keeping a thin line of white left on the contour adds a cool touch.

Just another picture of the original colour. Just remember to wipe off the lipstick before you're going to use it again. This technique could easily be done with any colour on the bottom, like a blue start topped with a red lipstick. Or a black base with bright pink on top. See where I'm going with this?! It's just the imagination that holds us back!!!

Enjoy!

SugarPill Palettes

Yiha!
So I was playing around a bit last night and thought I'd share the result with you.
This is totally an exaggerated look but still very.... beautiful somehow!
And I must say, having a white complexion makes the colours pop out so much more!
I mainly used SugarPill's Sweetheart Palette, but then I wanted to add some yellow and therefor The Burning Heart Palette was included. And of course using Lumi to this wasn't a bad choice, white with mint green sheen....
A truly Saturday's look huh...?!
