Bad Girl Smokey Eyes

Today's just going to be a quickie! It's actually a look I wore a few weeks ago but I figure I could show it to you anyways, just as an inspiration. Here, I'm still struggling with the Masquara from Illamasqua but good thing I remain persistent and kept using it because now I love it!  This is a perfect way of vary a smokey eye and if you're a bit scared of using too much colour, this could be an easy way of starting to do so.

Illamasqua Masquara Raven

So I've been trying Illamasqua's Masquara in Raven for a while now. At first I didn't like it at all but now I love it. It kind of grows on you, so to speak. Now, I don't have the lash capacity like Azure does but I still wanted to show you the difference on me. It makes a huge one and I simply adore it. It's not waterproof but doesn't wear off too easily, so there's no problem walking in the rain or wear it to the gym.

 Second coat, and voila! Lashes!

I think two coats really does the trick without it getting too much!

Medusa's WaterProof Mascara Majestic

Oh!

I just wanted to show you my new mascara I used today to spice up my look.

We got this with our other Medusa products but completely forgot to show it.

Don't ask why, because I simply don't know. I am very forgetful, I know!

Anyhow, this is a purple mascara and I love to wear it on my bottom lashes just to add some colour and wear as a surprised detail at closer look.

It's very creamy, and sometimes it looks like it's fibers in it, but honestly, I'm not sure.

It is waterproof, so I always apply a coat of ordinary mascara first so it's easier to wash off.

And of course, I would love to have the other ones to because I find this very useful! Though, I'll put them on my wishlist for later on purchases!

(And I love the bright coloured packaging! It makes it stand out among the other mascaras!)

Primer comparisons!

We got a comment from Geena asking us to compare Medusa's Eye Primer Stick it! with Lime Crime's Candy Eyed Eye Shadow Helper.

So why not!?

My thought of this was that Asylum got a more creamier and a more coverage result on Medusa's primer, than on the Lime Crime.

Probably because it is more creamy, and glossy when it's applied. 

Lime Crimes Eye Shadow Helper is more drier in that way, but on the other hand it was much harder to wash off when I was done. 

It seems it takes hold of the pigment in a whole different way, than the Medusa primer does.

But I think they are both long lasting, though the result get's different but that could be an advantage to have one product but get changing results depending on used primer.

Circus du Freak!

Time for me to use the Circus Palette! Long time no see!
(And yes, the title is a somewhat theft of the great movie Cirque du Freak A Vampires Assistant.)
But it is always a thrill to use this palette since it contains such variety of colours. I know it's a limited edition palette, but we got hold of ours on Ebay, and maybe it's still available there!
Anyhow, it's hard not to use the whole colour spectra with this one, and the best detail with Circus is that you'll have both matte and shimmer shadows to work with.
So this is the look I made with this treasure, and I also added a bit fun on my bottom lashes!
Oh, and before I forget, the last two pictures is taken without flash in daylight! The spring is entering!

1. Whenever I'm cooking a dish containing grated horseradish I just have to smell it, even though it burns up my nostrils! Just have to! It's some weird OCD I got!!!

4. I learned to swim by myself when I was a kid. I spent so much time in the water in the summers so after a while I just knew how to do.

5. I wish I had a round bed. I never thought about it before IKEA stopped selling the one they had, and when it was gone I really, really wanted one. So that's miserable....

6. I have adoring Alanis Morissette since I was twelve, and she's still one of my favorites!

7. I'm applying make up with both left hand and right hand depending on which side I do

Sharp Black Asylum

Ok. It was time to be creative, it's been too long! Unfortunately the camera was a bit stubborn, just my luck. This was actually my first time trying out the fabulous Asylum from Sugarpill. There's no eyeshadow like that, and believe me I got a few in my stash!
To create the sharp black line I've started with a black eye pencil and after applying eyeshadow on it they way I wanted to, I added a liquid eyeliner on top to make it even more edgier! Working with different lines and shapes could be a lot of fun, so give it a try.

We have been a bit naughty and got ourselves some new products!

Just couldn't resist!

I've seen so many people wearing Asylum from SugarPill for so long, so now I thought it was our turn!

So now we finally have it!

Here's the new darling: Asylum!

And also, for a while ago, I read about Kassie getting the Candy Eyed EyeShadow Helper from Lime Crime and just going crazy of how good it was.
So of course my fingers started itching for it, and I had to try it out.
And as she said, it's epic!
I'll show you a swatch down below!
But I surely love the little globe packaging, and of course the My Little Pony turquoise colour it's made of.

Yes I am Candy Eyed for it!

And this is the inside of it! A good healthy nude coloured primer without any added shimmer

And now for the serious and most utterly important thing of all. The result!
I swatched Asylum on the EyeShadow Helper, and on bare skin so you'll see the difference.
This primer will be used a lot, that for sure!

Some sort of Sunset

I had to use my new eyeliner and eye pencil thoroughly today but didn't want to be completely blue!
So that's when the orange kicked in and that pretty much nailed it!
It's so cool to have a strong blue under the lashes, and then an entirely different colour on the lid.
But about the products: all in all I can see myself using that eyeliner (Urban decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Siren) to every look. Mainly because it shifts so much in colour, and also because it's so easy to create a real sharp eyeliner with it.
And the eyepencil - 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Flipside is better than a normal eyepencil, but still I need to touch up with it during the day.
Though I know a lot of people saying it's hard to wear off and all so I know it's a pretty good pencil. Maybe I'm just a massive and heavy eye blinker....
