Smokey Devil Eyes Tutorial

Start with a more sticky primer, apply it over the entire lid
Use a big brush and the highlighter shadow and apply it just under the brow.

Use a blending brush and draw a "C" shape over the crease using a medium tone shadow

Now it should look like this

Don't draw the "C" too far back, you want to stop where the eye ends!

Start from the outer corner of the eye and dab the dark loose eyeshadow on but not all the way to the inner corner of the eye

Use a smaller brush and make sure to saturate the primer so it won't crease

Blend it in, thoroughly

Now it should look like this

Use a medium size brush and dab a light loose eyeshadow on, starting from the inner corner of the eye and stop approximately just before the middle

Use more of the lighter eyeshadow and go further than the middle if you want to keep it lighter

Time to darken it a bit more using a black eye pencil

For a lighter look, don't draw the eye pencil all they way, stop where you want.

Draw it thoroughly as a eyeliner

Make sure you really get in between the lashes

Take the loose darker eyeshadow and dap it on the eye pencil to make it blend in

Take some dark loose eyeshadow on the eyeliner as well

Two coats of your favorite volume mascara

Now, you got yourself a couple of nice smokey eyes!
Hope you liked it!

Pink Queen with glitter

I follow the Sunday up with an easy Monday, but today I have more energy!
As it still October, and focus for the Pink Ribbon and breast cancer, I'd thought of doing another look in the name of pink, but this really easy to do. Even though the official day is past, one can always be pink.
The eyeliner I've used is really a lippencil, I'm not bothered by using lippencils around the eye area, but for those with sensitive eyes, I would consider this before applying it on the eyes.
Another colour for eyeliner weights up for not using shadows sometimes, right!?

My list for today looks like this:
Primer - Liquid Metal Phenomena by Illamasqua
Shadows- Mad Minerals Multi use Loose Pigments in Holiday Lights and Big Apple
Eyepencil - Snowflake by Make Up Store
Eyeliner - Burlesque from MUS
Glitter eyeliners - Candy Liner Hot Pink from NYX and Glitter Eyeliner Queen from MUS
Mascara - Max Lashes Black from MUS and Candy Glitter Liner Hot Pink from NYX
Eyebrow - Le Crayon Eyekohl Bronze from Lancome and silver glitter mascara from 2True

Snoozy with a Star

Snoozy Sunday, sorry to say!
But you gotta do something, right!
I chose to have a colourful eyeliner and glitter in brows and lashes! That works when you're a bit tired!
On the lid I only applied a tiny amount of a face highlighter to brighten up the eye, 'cause frankly that is necissary when one just wants to sleep through the day. And let's not forget the white eyepencil on the waterline, that is a MUST when lurching around sleepy and all!

List of products:
Primer - None
Shadows - Flash Glow finishing powder from Mad Minerals
Eyepencil - Snowflake from MUS
Eyeliner- Copacabana from MUS, Paddle Medium Pencil from Illamasqua
Mascara - Max Lashes Black from MUS and glitter mascara silver from 2True
Star - Plastic star from a Bath Bomb from Lush attached with eyelash glue from MUS
Brow - Le Crayon Eyekohl Bronze by Lancome, and silver glitter mascara from 2True

Enjoy!

Purple Rain Lips!

This is what I was wearing on my lips today together with the purple rain eyes. Unfortunately the label on my lipgloss has worn off but I'm pretty sure it's NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Dolly Pink.

Hope you liked it!

Blue Smokeys!

I'm in such a smokey mood for now. Don't know why really, I just want to wear dark eyes.
Normally I don't do my eyes so dark near the tear duct, but today I wanted to go against myself. That's a really good thing to do sometimes, to go against your will because you always learn something!
And I've gotten to like smokey eyes without any black somewhere. It highlights the eyes in a total different way!
And look how grey my eyes turned out with blue, almost crazy!
You should definitely try to do smokeys in other colours!

My list goes:
Primer - Liquid Metal Phenomena by Illamasqua
Shadows - Innocence &Obnoxious from the Bad Girl Palette & Blue Lagoon from Curacao Palette by Sleek, Dazzle Dust Pale Blue by Barry M
Eyepencil - Metallic Sea from Make Up Store
Eyeliner - Glitter Eyeliner Night Fever by Collection 2000
Mascara - Helena Rubenstein Lash Queen Black
Brow - Le Crayon Eyekohl Bronze from Lancome

Friday Fun with Illamasqua's Permission

If you haven't tried Illamasqua's Powder Eye Shadows you got a lot of fun ahead! They're truly a joy to work with. They're incredible high pigmented and there's a wide range of colours to choose from, and many of them are actually matt which one rarely finds! I love to use their Liquid Metals as a primer, but make sure to use it very sparsely, a little goes a long way!

Here's what I used:
Primer - NYX JEP in Milk, Illamasqua's Liquid Metal in Stoic
Shadows - Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Permission & Lestat, MUS M/s Take Off, MUS E/d in Demon
Eye pencil - NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Black
Eyeliner - MUS Darkest Shadow, MAC Penultimate Eyeliner
Glitter - NYX Candy Glitter Liner in Eldorado
Mascara - Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara in Black
Eyebrow - MUS M/s in Nightfall

Enjoy!

Sleek Blush in Aruba

So this is the lovely colour from the Curacao collection from Sleek called Aruba.
It is a bright orange, and the pigment is super rich. You barely have to touch the blush brush in the pan, and that will be enough!
And like we've said before, why not use your blushes as eyeshadows?

Blush on!
