A Curious Friday

As I said last Wednesday I had found out how lovely purple went with blue and green. So I spun on that idea and made it in another way. And as it is Friday I thought; let's go crazy! So the light green and yellow ended up real high to the brow bone, but you should really try it before you deny it, because I kind of liked it!
And the purple went down to the lower lashline instead, and framed the eye amazingly!
This is the result of another Sleek palette by the way, the Curious one. Haven't used it in a while so it was definitely time to!

Primer - High Tech Lighter Moondust from MUS
Shadows - The Curious Palette by Sleek
Eyepencil - S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil from Illamasqua (also on the lower lashline with purple shadow on top)
Eyeliner - Glitter Eyeliner Rock Chic from collection 2000
Mascara - Helena Rubenstein Lash Queen in Black
Eyebrow - Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bronze by Lancome

Eyeliner Inspiration!

I think that eyeliner is one of the best beauty tricks there is. One can just vary them endlessly with help of different colours, shapes or adding glitter on the top. When one's in a hurry, eyeliner is the perfect thing!

NYX Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Purple

NYX Big Fat Eye Marker together with MUS Glitter Eye Liner in Soft Pink just above it

Illamasqua's Precision In in Abyss together with MUS Cake Eyeliner in White

Zelda

So here I am again, showing you another source of inspiration for you. Whenever I need to get in a bubble of stories, colours, never-ending histories I always turn to Zelda.
There are so many games of Zelda, and everyone has it's own story so I won't go further in on that.
Only, I got my Zelda fever a bit late, about three - four years ago. But I've been hooked since then.
Zelda is a princess, always, and in every way to be. She is a legend, and Link always find a way to connect to her. And very often is it a long long way to meet her, and on the road is it like five hundred keys to find or make.
I really recommend everyone to play Zelda, even if the interest is very low. I didn't think I'd like it at the beginning. But here I am making a post about it...

My first Zelda game!
Link - The Main character
Tetra - The Pirate
Princess Zelda - The one who's always in trouble

An Game boy Advance Zelda Game  : The Oracle of Seasons. The twin game The Oracle  of Time is magnificent.

The newest Zelda game

I will follow this up by showing a look made out of my inspirational thoughts from Zelda, I will just find the time eh!?

Hope you'll enjoy!

Candy Glitter Eyeliner in Aqua from NYX

Adding purple at the corner of the eye instead of the ordinary blue was a useful thing I did today! It lifts the whole look don't you think!?

A Perfect Red!

I'm going crazy over my new palettes I must say! This is a real quickie with shades from The Curacao Palette.
Sleek Make Up must be a bunch of geniuses making all these palettes for several occasions; smokey, colourful, neon, matte and so on and so on!
And I want you to know, for a time I serached for the perfect red eyeshadow, you know a REAL red one. Everyone I tried always ended up in a strange pink somehow. So if you want a red one that's really red, here's one for you!
And I like a glossy eyeliner from now on! Now I only want glossy lashes!

Products:
Primer - NYX JEP Milk and Yellow
Shadows - Screwdriver, Martini, Tequila Sunrise and Bloody Mary from the Curacao Palette from Sleek
Eyepencil - Snowflake by MUS
Eyeliner - Precision Ink in Abyss by Illamasqua
Mascara - Max Lashes Black from MUS
Eyebrow - Le Crayon Eyekohl Bronze from Lancome

The Search...

Without flash

With flash

I've started the search for the perfect foundation and it looks like it's going to be a long way before I find it! At the moment I'm using MAC Pro Longwear but I think it's just so hard to work with as it tends to dry so quickly and once it has one wont be able to blend it out or even move it! I've also tried Illamasquas Rich Liquid Foundation but think it looks uneven after a couples of hours. My skin is pretty oily and I do prefer a foundation with full coverage. I've been looking at MUFE HD Foundation and Makeup Ateliers Paris Foundation, anyone who had experience them?
Any tips on the fabulous foundation?

The look of a boring Thuesday:
Primer - NYX JEP in Milk
Shadows - Sleek Palette in Curacao
Eye pencil - Illamasquas S.O.P.H.I.E pencil
Eyeliner - Illamasquas Precision Ink in Abyss
Mascara - MUS Max Lashes in Black
Eyebrow - MUS Tri Brow

Santorini Blush from Sleek

Time to show the Monaco blush from Sleek, called Santorini!
This pink is so lovely, and it's melting on the cheeks perfectly!
The product has been through the eyeshadow-test and the result became: thumbs up!
(Hint: read our disclaimer, and if having sensitive eyes, this wouldn't be something to recommend!)

You simply can't be disappointed by Santorini!

Wreckless Golden Eyes

This is actually something a did a while ago when I had to get up super early and was drop dead tired!! But that's the beauty with make up, you put some on and no one would ever believe you didn't sleep to well. Also applying glitter to the make up makes it look so much more advanced that others would really think you put on a lot of effort on the look....

This is what I used:
Primer - NYX JEP in Milk
Shadows - Illamasquas Powder Eye Shadows in Vulgar, Blame, Sister & Yes, Mad Minerals Multi Use Mineral Color in Whisper Gold, Wreckless & Heat Wave (under the eye)
Eye pencil - MUS E/p in Black
Eye liner - NYX Big Fat Eye Marker
Glitter - NYX Glitter On The Go in Sparks mixed with NYX Candy Glitter Liner in French Silk
Mascara - Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara in Black
Eyebrow - MUS Tri Brow

Half-Moon

There is nothing comparable with playing with make up, experimenting and learning more about your skills.
I tried a half-moon shaped crease with a lighted centre with only matte shadows. Incredible!
Glitter wouldn't be wrong but for some reason I stopped there.
I purchased the lashes from Superdrug, just noticing them amongst the shelves, and the were a total hit. Comfortable to wear and precisely as flirty that falsies should be.

The list of today:
Primer - NYX JEP in Milk
Shadows - Chaos Palette from Sleek
Eyepencil - Snowflake by MUS
Eyeliner - Super Fat Eye Marker Black from NYX
Lashes - Girls With Attitude Madame Butterfly from Eye Impact
Mascara - None
Eyebrow - Black from the Chaos palette

Enjoy!

Blingin' the Brows

Unfortunately the camera didn't do this look justice, it was very glittery brows and more strong colours in real life! But what can one do? Any suggestions of a brilliant camera, feels like mine is worn out?! Anyhow adding some glitter in the brows is a fabulous trick to spice up a look and people in general seems to like it. Many have been commenting my brows today, in a good way ;)

This is what I used:
Primer - NYX JEP in Cottage Cheese
Shadows - Sleek Palette in Oh So Special, Mad Minerals Multi Use Mineral Color in Evocative, Wedding & Peridot (under the eye), Inglot Eye Shadow in 361 & 469
Eye pencil - MUS E/p in Smoke on the waterline, MUS E/p Clouded Sky applied on the lower lashline
Eye liner - MUS Cake Eyeliner in Black
Glitter - NYX Glitter On The Go in Sparks attached with Inglot Duraline on the brows
Mascara - Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara in Black
Eyebrow - MUS M/s in Nightfall

Enjoy!
