Starling is a darling!

Yipee Ya Yeay!!!
That's how I feel about the new arrivals we got from SugarPill!
It was nothing but joy to work with the colours, and I got a feeling of the look the minute I looked down at the little jars!
SugarPill is the sh*t!
For today I wanted real colourful eyes, so I applied a lot of blue on top, and purple on the bottom. Quite a combo!
And I never start to get surprised of how simple purple seems to blend with other colours! It'z amazing. Try more purple is what I say!
But the pigment I got most positively surprised of was Starling. I thought it would be much lighter than it turned out to be! It has quite a depth that I haven't seen so much in blue tones in a while so this one is definitely a keeper!

My colourful list of today:
Primer - High Tech Lighter Platina from MUS
Shadows - Tipsy, Darling, Weekender, Paperdoll, Magpie & Starling Loose Eyeshadows from SugarPill. Eyedust Goldglow from MUS
Eyepencil - Snowflake from MUS
Eyeliner - None
Mascara - Max Lashes Black from MUS and silver glitter mascara from 2True
Brows - Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bromze from Lancome

More of SugarPill hauls!

Yes we did it again... Couldn't really restrain ourselves.
So what do we end up with? Six new Loose Eyeshadows of course!
You see, they are wonderful, no beyond wonderful!
So good coverage, maximum colour-effect, shiny, sparkling, adorable, bright and dazzling!
We've just tried some of them, since we got them just recently, but will there be looks? Yes it will!
Now let's take a look at them treasures!

(yes we've shown this earlier, but next to these new ones, we just couldn't resist!)
Royal Sugar
Now here's a describing of them all:
Tiara: Pure and clean silver pigment, with a good and full shimmer-effect. Just hints of sparkle, but still visible
Lumi: A white base, but with real interesting green/turquoise shimmer
Tipsy: A grass green with a semi-matte finish, and tiny sparkles that hues in a yellower green
Darling: The most wanted Mediterranean Turquoise/Blue ever seen. Clean turquoise base, with small sparks in white/silver
Starling: A full shimmered blue with a darker undertone, seems to be lighter in the jar than it is on.
Royal Sugar: A super-bright here-I-am blue with a matte base and bigger sparks of green, but in a certain light it appears multi-coloured

Left to right:
Tiara, Lumi, Tipsy, Darling, Starling & Royal Sugar
First row on bare skin
Second row applied on foundation

Are these ones a must have?
Of course!!!!
Now the only thing missing in the collection is Asylum (red) and Absinthe (lime green), then maybe, but just maybe can we settle satisfaction of required products from SugarPill. But that's not a promise....

This one is for Charlotte Sparkle

We got a request from Charlotte Sparkle about doing something metallis green and silver.
Well what else to do than obey!?
Just kidding!
I did two versions of that, since when finishing the first one, I had another in my head that I really wanted to try, and it's a little bit softer.
But I liked them both!
Here is a tiny fountain of pictures! (And since I did them smaller to keep the post slim, click on them to get the pic bigger!)

Soft Sleek Circus Look!

I dusted off two of my Palettes from Sleek that I haven't used in a while and came up with the fact that pink, purple and oranges hues just goes so great together and blend very easily! If you want it to be more bright and colourful just add some yellow. All the Palettes from Sleek are very inspiring just by looking at them and the shadows are easy to work with. Which one is your favorite?

Here's what I used
Primer - NYX JEP in Cottage Cheese
Shadows - Sleek Palette in Circus & Good Girl
Eye pencil - NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Charcoal

Back on track!

Puh! New week, new possibilities!
After such a slow weekend, with bad mood and all, I'm back on track! This just melted on me, and I owe a big one to Sleek.
I felt for something outside the ordinary brown look, so the pink and purple got so convenient together! And gosh, purple is so lovely to blend in to almost everything. It gets lovely to blue, and it really spices up the ordinary brown, and to pink it just adds that little royal feeling to the look!
Enough said, but today I was sooo satisfied with my look (but thank you guys for the sweetest commenting, it really compensated the feeling I had for Saturdays look!!)

My list of today goes:
Primer - Illamasqua Fat Pencil in Perversed
Shadows - Bow, Gateau, The Mail, Wrapped up, Celebrate & Boxed from The Oh So Special Sleek Palette, with Mad Minerals Setting Powder in Flash Glow as highlighter

Eyeliner - NYX Slide On Pencil in Purple Blaze
Mascara - Helena Rubenstein Lash Queen Mascara in Black
Eyebrow - Tri Brow Colour from MUS

Gloomy Me

Although I kind of hoped that this day would turn out to be a better day than yesterday, it turned out to be... well a tired one I must say!
The weather has been awful, and I've just been as gloomy as the weather. So this look is inspired by the weather so to speak!
Quite an easy look really, just brows, a black eyepencil and lots of mascara!! Kind of reminds me of when one was fourteen and applied layer after layer... haha.

Primer - None
Shadows - A very thin layer of MadMinerals Setting Powder in Flash Glow
Eyepencil - S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil from Illamasqua
Eyeliner - S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil from Illamasqua
Mascara - Phenomen'Eyes Black from Givenchy
Brows - Le Crayon Eyekohl by Lancome

Crisp by Make Up Store

The lips turned out better than my eyes, that's for sure!
Pink goes very well to green looks in my opinion, but other days I appreciate it more, when I feel satisfied with my look!
This could be taken as a lipgloss with the shine and all, but it isn't! It's a sheer lipstick! The name is Crisp and I bought it at Make Up Store.
The gloss feeling is really there, so smoothly!
So thumbs up for this one!

Over and out!

Permission from Illamasqua

I didn't feel like this look turned out very well, don't know why really... It just got out wrong you know?
The thought was to put focus on the eyeliner, but I just felt like my lids were soooo heavy today!
I hate these days when everything just go wrong, and you just want to wash it all off, and then jump back to bed, doing nothing.
There's already creasing under the eye, and I hate when that happens!
Well, let's have bigger hopes for tomorrow, shall we?

Products of the day:
Primer - Cream Eye Shadow in Grace by Illamasqua
Shadows - Yes! and Permission Powder Eye Shadows from Illamasqua, The Safari Sleek Palette
Eyepencil - Snowflake from MUS
Eyeliner - S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil from Illlamasqua with MUS Peacock Glitter on top, attached with Mixing Liquid also from MUS
Mascara - Phenomen'Eyes Mascara Black from Givenchy

Black and Red Tutorial

I have done a tutorial for you if you want a look for a fire-mood, or just for the night!
Very well, lets start right away!

First complexion, then draw some lines with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk... this. It doesn't have to be neat at all...

Mostly because you'll blend it out like this. Use a finger or a fluffy brush

Then draw some more, but this time use NYX JEP in Rust...

...and paint it to the centre of the eye, up to the crease and blend it out

Time for the first eye shadow! Use a big fluffy brush and press on the shadow before you start blending it. This red is Love + from SugarPill

And this is how to blend it. Move up to the beginning to the brow and up just a bit over the socket

Add some yellow from the red to the tear duct. This is Buttercupcake from SugarPill

Blend it upwards to the brow, and meet the red shade to blend them together... this

More NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil, this is Yellow, and I've painted it under the lashline

Time to darken the eye with some black eyeshadow, in this case Stella Loose Eyeshadow from SugarPill, a black base with multi-coloured shimmer. Place it at the corner of the eye with a small brush to have control over such a dark shade

I've shaped it like this

And blended it up in the red, but also out to shape up the eye

Time to highlight. Normally I go for a shimmery highlight, but today I went matte, do whatever you feel like. This is a matte white, called Tako, also from SugarPill. Place it at the tear duct

And the brow bone, and blend it together with the other colours so you get the colours to fade in each other

More yellow is what I say! Place it at the upper corner of the eye and blend it with the black shade

Use the same black for the lower lashline, I changed the brush to an eyeliner brush that way I get more control and less fall out

Meet the black with purple, this is Poison Plum from SugarPill. Draw it no further than half of the eye...

...because that's where you'll place more of the yellow shade which still is Buttercupcake from SugarPill. Fade it between the purple and the white...

...and take it along the way to the corner of the eye

Black eyepencil on the waterline to frame the eye. This is the S.O.P.H.I.E Pencil from Illamasqua

And this is my eye after darkening the waterline. Notice that I've also painted the upper waterline

Of course! Glitter is next. This is a purple glitter eyeliner from Collection 2000 called Shake It Up!

Followed up with Barry M Glitter Eyeliner in Black, making a wing

This is how it looks, and I've also done my brows

Time for mascara. This is Max Lashes Black from Make Up Store

And the result of two coats!

Notice the mascara dot clumsy me did near the brow, and this is how you remove it without spoiling the look. Wait a couple of minutes so the mascara dries...

...then take the brush you used for the shade where the dot is and show off the dot in the opposite direction, in this case from ear to nose if that makes any sense

And it's gone!

Pics of the result!

And a blurry one to catch the glitter

Hope you found it useful! It's easy to understand why we have a crush on SugarPill huh!?
